Hard to believe, but Abby's class celebrated their 100th day of kindergarten yesterday! They did several math projects relating to the number 100, and she did a project with 100 items (pieces of cereal) that she had to count out and glue to a piece of construction paper. Her cereal looked very pretty organized as a flower!
Then of course today were the Valentine's Day parties for both TJ and Abby's class. Beverly got into the action and took some valentines to school for her friends too!
Abby has also been having lots of fun with the on-line portion of her Webkinz that she received for her birthday from the Effingham Scott's! So she wanted me to share this picture for Auntie J ...
Her Webkinz panda bear (who has been named Rainbow) has been having a great time in her virtual home bouncing on her trampoline and swimming in her pool! :-)

Busy Week and Another Birthday!
The week went fast with basketball and homework and just general family busy stuff. We even celebrated another birthday this week (mine!) and now I'm upper 40-something, ha ha!!
Looking forward to some unseasonably warm temperatures this weekend and the melting of the snow that has been sitting around here for several weeks in the cold!

Our little cheerleader!
Abby had a great time participating in the THS Cheer Clinic. She spent the whole afternoon in curlers with hopes of having beautiful "curly hair" for her peformance. It did curl, but quickly fell back to her string-straight locks after just a few minutes. But the parts closest to her face stayed curled and she was happy! Even her doll had to get in on the action with a couple of leftover curlers!
Then it was time for the big night. I think the video speaks for itself as to how excited she was to be on the court cheering with the girls!
TJ had a great Upward basketball game that ended just before Abby's performance started, so he and dad had to dash back to Tremont from Morton and not miss the show! He told me that he scored 6 baskets and 5 free throw shots, so it sounds like I missed a great game! Hard to be two places at once. Beverly was busy all day but we were able to meet up with her at the school, helping build sets for the upcoming musical.
